Everyday Invalidations Change, Loss And Grief

grief

Regardless of what school of change thought I read I continue to return to the above words.

How come?  Could it be an unconscious connections to my own losses in life yet to be processed or that the trauma associated with loss has inspired me to journey down the path of curiosity?

There is not much written about the relationship to the above words other than some references to Kubler Ross.  I embark on reading or for that matter re-reading The Denial of Death by Ernest Becker.

What is the business or performance cost of unresolved loss and grief?  I have yet to work in a place that takes the compassionate time to consider that.  I am aware that the subject of my curiosity will be met with backlash and resistance.  As a North American society we are not that good at emotions never the less discussing pain and suffering.
