Everyday Invalidations Can’t Or Won’t

Can’t change or won’t change?  What is the difference?

Can’t a contraction of can not;unable to do lack of ability

Won’t a contraction of will not:a lack of willingness

Willingness; a state of readiness or preparation to act.

Cannot is a lack of ability.  I cannot win an Olympic gold medal in the 100m dash as I am 48 years old and have not ran a race in 15 years.

Will not is a lack of will.  I will not apologize it was his fault.
